Visit from Cousin Lisa

Aimee's cousin Lisa came over July 4th to visit and celebrate Independence Day. We had tickets for the dress rehearsal of "A Capitol Fourth" concert on the west lawn of the Capitol, which was the night before (July 3) before the big event. For July 4th, we went to the National Mall for the fireworks (while the kids were asleep). We also went to Arlington Cemetery and The Air and Space Museum near Dulles Airport. It was fun to see the fireworks from the Mall, surprisingly. We had a great view without having to camp-out all day for a spot near the Washington Monument and the show was spectacular.
