Caps Game
Nickolas went to his first NHL hockey game and cheered on the Washington Capitals, who lost to the Calgary Flames. He went in style sitting in a suite with his bear in the packed house. He brought along his bear for those loud moments and had a blast. Also fun was the food, popcorn, and soda and being able to sit with big cousin Rob (aka "Giant").

Frying Pan Park in Fairfax County, Virginia
We enjoyed a beautiful 70 degree spring day at Fairfax County's last remaining working farm. It's a county park with animals and horse riding trails for people to bring their own horses to. Making the day perfect, Nickolas received a package from his Uncle David in Kentucky with a University of Kentucky jersey for March Madness and fitting for a horse farm. Nickolas and Greta had a great time watching the animals, including baby sheep and pigs born just the other week. Lucy LOVED the animals, as well. She pointed and waved to many of them. We went on a tractor ride and halfway though, Lucy decided she didn't want to sit on mommy's lap and wanted to kneel with the big kids and watch the farm go by. We might have a horse enthusiast on our hands...

Going All Out for Speghetti-O's
Sometimes, it's just easiest to go topless when a messy dinner is involved.

Lucy's 1st Year Measurements
Lucy standing on her own.
Lucy had her 1-year check-up this week and had several shots. She's growing nicely and has the typical large Jorjani noggin. Perhaps it's her beautiful hair that throws off the measurement. She waves bye-bye, says "mama" when she's upset or wants to be held, and even puckers for a kiss. Lucy is quite active creeping and crawling around, so her weight has leveled off a bit in the past 3 months, which his suprising since she's been a pretty good eater. She's our little angel face. Below are her stats for the year.1st Visit at one week old

Happy 1st Birthday, Lucy Grace!
We were blessed with the birth of Lucy Grace one year ago today. She's been the perfect angel ever since. How lucky we are. We celebrated last night with cupcakes and homemade Shepherd's Pie. We had our friend and nearby neighbor Tricia come to help open presents and sing happy birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGEL FACE!
On a birthday high.

Chair and Push Toy
Lucy has been having fun with Nickolas's old chair and push walker toy. She crawls right in and sits on the chair and climbs all over it and loves walking with the walker. Pretty soon, she'll be walking on her own just in time for Spring.
