Aimee waited 6 years for the Green Bay Packers to come back to Washington - although 6 years ago, she was in Green Bay - of all places - the weekend of their last meeting at FedEx Field. The day finally came, we had very special tickets thanks to Sue and Wayne, and Uncle Brian came to town (someday, perhaps, we'll get the Uncle Davids to drop by). Despite the sudden death overtime loss, it was a great time. The kids had a blast and were safely contained in the suite and Dan was pleased with the Redskins' victory.
We're ready for some football Sunday!
And brought our game faces. Imagine that - Uncle Brian is wearing green on Packer game day. Tailgating in Platinum parking with the minivan.
Kids made sure Sue's lap was constantly occupied while Uncle Brian made sure she was dressed appropriately.
Nickolas thought the silly Redskins fans were a bit too loud at the start of the game.
And settled for the second row with a Sprite.
Lucy preferred to not rub elbows but rather, fingers, with the Vice President of the Redskins.
She also enjoyed being with her Godfather.
And Godmother.
Lucy eye-balling the cheerleaders who stopped by.
Although Nickolas didn't mind. He also liked the "policemen" who were with them.
Lucy quite appreciative of cousin Kat's help with the chocolate fountain.
Nickolas with a darn good seat.
So much excitement for the wee one. Passed out after the game on Uncle Brian's shoulder.
