Nickolas had a fun weekend despite the very hot temperatures and high humidity, which apparently affected a good portion of the eastern half of the country. One evening, we took a walk to a nearby trail that has a very nice playground and swing set. We put Nickolas in the baby swing and he had a great time suspended and kicking as daddy pushed him. Mommy had fun, too, swinging on the big kid swing next to Nickolas'.
Nickolas' friend Greta came by for a visit over the weekend; however, they weren't wild about getting their picture taken - at least, not at the same time. Also, Nickolas celebrated the Redskin's victory that helped the Packers in their division by wearing his Skin's pajamas (from his Uncle David - Dan's brother) and practicing his tackling on a stuffed chicken. Sadly, the Packers had a heartbreaking loss. Those pajamas have been put away until after next weekend when the two teams play each other. Unfortunately, Nickolas has to be neutral next weekend for that one. ... or does he?
