This past weekend, we celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary. It's hard to believe a whole year has gone by. Time flies by when you're with your best friend and every day this past year just kept getting better and better as husband and wife.
We took the time this weekend to get away on a little adventure into southwestern Pennsylvania to reminisce and to visit a little house in the region called "Fallingwater" designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Aimee has always wanted to see it and Dan and Nickolas were kind and patient to let her tour it since wee ones are not allowed inside the home. After the tour, we all met up and walked around the grounds and trails to take in better views of the home.
We couldn't have had a more perfect fall weekend. We stayed at a fun little quirky 100-year old hotel called the Summit Inn (http://www.summitinnresort.com/) and enjoyed the friendly staff, comfortable accommodations, and original Stickley lobby furniture. The views and the porch were incredible. I would not mind going back during the summer months to take advantage of the spectacular pool.
