Sibling Love

Smile?

It's likely gas, twitches, or sweet dreams -- in any case, here's Lucy smiling.

Don't Toucha the Mango

Nickolas recently showed us his love for mango to add to the extensive list of fruit that he enjoys to eat. Ironically, while Nana Jean and mommy were eating cupcakes, Nickolas was being the good boy eating his mango.

Going Home

After a surprisingly pleasant hospital stay, Lucy and Aimee came home on Wednesday.

An extremely sleep-deprived daddy.
Getting wheeled-out.
All buckled up.

Nickolas Meets His Sister Lucy

We were so blessed to have Nickolas is such loving and good hands with Aimee's relatives in Virginia during the 4-day hospital stay. He had a big yard to play in, a kitty cat to chase, and a great-uncle who I imagine gave him lots of ice cream. He saw horses, road on a train at the mall, and played with the neighbor kids. Thank you so very much for allowing us to not have to worry about a thing. Nickolas had the time of his life!

When Sue brought Nickolas to the hospital, as he walked into the room, he had a little vase with a pale pink rose and lilac that he handed to his mommy. It was the sweetest thing. Nickolas had all sorts of fun in the hospital room pressing buttons, eating fruit, and checking out his sister. He had no interest in coming up onto the bed since there were too many things to explore. He seemed to like the bebe, showed her his truck, and eventually left with Sue to go back to the fun house.
My first scooter ride!

We need to come back and do this again!

Hi Lucy, I'm your big brother Nickolas.

What's in here? Apparently I used to sleep in one of these when I was born.
Thanks for taking me to meet Lucy. Time to go.
